One Response to Berlin’s Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

  1. David Lightstone says:

When I visited this monument the fist thought was surprise at how large it was. It seemed like the different boxes extended forever. Walking through the boxes was astonishing. It was a place where no one spoke. When I walked through the museum underneath there were several moving exhibits. One room had letters from different victims of the holocaust displayed. It was an extremely sad and moving display. The museum displayed a lot of interesting information on the war and the camps. At the end I had feelings of sadness and some feelings of anger and disappointment.
