Coyoacan, Mexico City: Trotsky, a famous Russian revolutionary and Marxist, was exiled after a dispute with Stalin. His house in Mexico City, in which he was murdered in 1940, has been turned into a museum and is administered by a local non-government organization. Located in the quiet Coyoacan neighborhood, the house has been preserved in the same condition as when Trotsky resided there. His grave stands in the house’s garden, a hammer and sickle engraved on the tombstone.
